As mentioned elsewhere, it's taken long enough but finally the 28mm Japanese religious Kickstarter is ready to launch. Below is the pre-launch link but I thought I'd take this opportunity to go a bit more in-depth as to the whys and wherefores for the project. The main reason behind it is to bring the religious buildings up to scratch and give them accessible interiors to match the village and yamashiro ranges. Given the Portuguese tendency for failing you'd think they'd give up. But no, they've come back for more and have tried a final attempt to get the wayward Lady Fackham back. Spanish guerillas had mentioned to Portuguese high command that Lady Fakham was being transported from the convent to a secret location but that the convoy would be taking the main road to the coast... The French column was going past a small settlement that the Portuguese had decided to use as cover to spring an ambush....

Well, with the disastrous events of the last game I felt it was appropriate to try and recapture Lady Fakham (who I think is probably quite happy where she is but it's the principle of the thing!). The Portuguese forces had been reliably informed that Lady Fakham had been taken to a convent so they forced march to the location in the vein hope of rescuing her. The Portuguese started on the right above the bridge with the French entering opposite but they already had a unit of dismounted...
